Mazeppa, MN is a picturesque community located along the north fork of the Zumbro River. It’s rich history dates back to its settlement in 1855. Mazeppa’s history as a mill town helped establish the community and caused rapid growth for the small town in the early 1900s. Mazeppa was an early adapter to technology back in the early days of the community. As the times changed and populations grew, Mazeppa joined forces with Zumbrota to create a robust education system for area children. The Zumbrota-Mazeppa Schools are some of the best in the area in academics as well as sports.
