The two main Mayo Clinic campuses in Rochester

• Downtown campus: the Gonda Building is at 200 First St SW, right in downtown Rochester.
• Saint Marys campus: 1216 Second St SW, about a mile west of downtown.

Your department decides which campus you’ll work at most, and staff parking is assigned by Mayo, so check with your hiring team before you pick a neighborhood.

Getting to work without a car

• Rochester Public Transit (RPT) runs city bus routes, including park-and-ride express service from three lots to Saint Marys and downtown. Parking at the RPT park-and-ride lots is free and the regular fare is $2; Mayo Clinic employees show their Mayo ID for employer-sponsored fares (City of Rochester). Mayo’s staff commuting flyer names the lots as N. Broadway (CMX Chateau Theater), the Olmsted County Fairgrounds and 75th Street NW.
• Link, a fare-free 2.8-mile bus rapid transit line linking the West Transit Village, Mayo Clinic campuses and downtown, is under construction. The city expects first rides in August 2027 (City of Rochester, Sept. 2026).
• Mayo Clinic staff options: the Mayo Clinic staff commuting flyer describes Mayo shuttle lots, RPT park-and-ride, commuter buses from regional hubs, and secure bike rooms. Details change, so confirm with Mayo Parking & Transportation.
• Rochester City Lines runs weekday peak-hour commuter buses into Rochester from many surrounding communities (rclbus.com).
