About Lake Zumbro
Lake Zumbro is a reservoir on the Zumbro River north of Rochester, near Oronoco. It formed in 1919, when the City of Rochester finished its hydroelectric dam downstream. Rochester Public Utilities still runs the dam, which has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1991.
